Campbell Thanksmas/Christgiving 2008

As is tradition, we headed down to Richmond for the annual celebration
of Campbell family holidays.

Here we find the Clan heartily enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. Eva wondered why she wasn't getting any turkey bird. Cousin Ainsley (in the hat) sure liked hers!

Cousin Nate-Dawg (Nathan) really liked meeting Eva.
"Look how gentle I am with the nice baby, Mommy!"
Eva endured... erm, enjoyed many love pats that week.

Girly cousins playing.
(Note my child's delightful "rat-tail" as her father calls it)

Eva receiving more affection from her new buddy.
(that hand was just previously in his mouth...)

A "spittle-hawk" designed by Nate-Dawg
(note Uncle Aa-ron's foot petting her head)

Oh, the comfort of Grammy!

Bumpa love.

"He gets me."

Playing outside. "Me rockin' my Bloomsburg T, Mommy!"

Adam with Ainsley and ity-bity Eva playing ball.

Adam getting some sweet air! (my how graceful we are)

Getting a cousin photo taken.

"Monkey" Uncle Drew makes everyone laugh.

After Thanksmas, two days later comes Chrisgiving!
Eva loved the wrapping paper more than the presents.

Chrisgiving tastes so good!

Nate-Dawg took good care of Eva all week.
Since we began at the table, it's only appropriate to end there with the Campbell Clan eating 5 Pork Christmas Brunch. With the Campbells, it begins and ends with good food!

"Feed the Geese, Daddy!" (October)

The geese...

...their food...

...and the enthusiastic geese-feeders!
Mommy showing Eva how to toss stale bread.
(I apologize for my sweatpants. After seeing this picture, I swore never to wear them in public again. You may not be bothered by them, but I know my sister is shuddering at her computer desk. Sorry, Eli!)

Autumn Adventures

5 Months Old Eva and the Pumpkins

All was fine and fun...

... then someone took a tumble!

...which was very scary... pumpkin fun was over.

Our Capital Adventure: "PC in D.C." Oct. 18th, 2008

The group headed up to Lincoln's place.

And some abandoned socks we found there.

(They looked toddler-size to me... that would make sense.)

Adam hangin' with Lincoln. (notice the camera on the corner of the building... I think that is Dick Cheney keeping an eye on us.)

An unimpressed Eva ...

...and a beautiful day.

At Long Last!

The new (free! oh my gosh!) computer has arrived! Praise God! Praise God!
Here she is. We call her New-Dellie. Isn't she beautiful?
After donating some of his "organs" to help Dellie live a better life, Frankenputer is going to the recycling center. He did good for us while he was our PC. Farewell, Frank and thanks J P-trizzle for him.

(Yes, many Campbell adventures from the last 2 months will be posted soon!)

So, before I got our computer sick, I was going to tell you all about our "Skeeter." Here is a picture of him, well, what's left of him.

That's the print he left on the bathroom wall after I ended him. I think it's kinda pretty.

While we wait for our new computer, here's some pics

One with the cousins this Thanksgiving.
Ainsley holding Laina, Cailin holding Eva, and 'Nate-Dawg' just hangin' out.
" Mommy, look at me play!"
"Scrumptious leaf!"

Wearing her Bloomsburg T.

Just silliness.
(Look at my child's "Popeye" arms!)
