A Word for Mothers

1 Thes. 5:14
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.

“I am so amazed that God has altered me that I can never despair of anybody.” — Oswald Chambers

“Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be.” — Thomas a Kempis

"Labor to help others, and especially strive to encourage them. Talk cheerily to the young and anxious inquirer, lovingly try to remove stumbling-blocks out of his way. When you find a spark of grace in the heart, kneel down and blow it into a flame. Leave the young believer to discover the roughness of the road by degrees, but tell him of the strength which dwells in God, of the sureness of the promise, and of the charms of communion with Christ. " - Charles Haddon Spurgeon

  1. Beautiful pictures and beautiful quotes! What a blessing to be a mom, even though the responsibility is great. I can think of nothing so rewarding or as ripe with opportunities for growing!! It's the best. How kind of God. (My fav pic is the last one--mom asleep with daughter. :))

    Love you!
